ZOO

Miami ZOO is the largest and oldest in the State of Florida and it could be the biggest ZOO you’ll ever visit. With plenty of parking, rich history, great exhibits and amenities, this is the place to be when visiting Miami with children. Remember to bring a lot of water, hat and sunscreen. This is the only ZOO in the United States, that is considered tropical ZOO. Unique Florida climate allows to have a wide variety of animals from Asia, Australia and Africa, representing broad mix of pieces that is unlike any other ZOO in the country.

ZOO

Miami ZOO is very large. We recommend you to take very good walking shoes or rent a bike, once you’re inside. Bike rental is a great service to get around quicker, with less fatigue and walking between ZOO sections. Sunscreen and plenty of water is a MUST! One of the best thing is feeding giraffe at Samburu Station, don’t be afraid to get licked. Zoo is divided into different sections, based on geological location of the animals.
