Cape Florida State Park
Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park is located at the very bottom of Key Biscayne. From Miami Downtown you will only follow one road, Rickenbacker Causeway, this road ends with the park gate.
Park has an amazing feel, there are mangroves virtually everywhere, as well as Iguanas. The story about Iguanas is, that someone has brought them to Key Biscayne as a pet, but they escaped and had no natural predator here and that is why you’ll see them everywhere you go.
There are two restaurants here, Boaters Grill is favorite destination for a lot of locals or boaters, who parked in the marina and staying over night on the boat. An then there is a Lighthouse Cafe, more simple restaurant, but at great location.
