Walt Disney World is about 3.5 hour drive from Miami and it’s not something you can do in one day. With 4 different park sections and 2 water parks, Disney World is one of the biggest parks in the World. Disney World is partially copy of the original Disneyland, which is in Anaheim, California, but on much larger scale and with many additions.
This place is truly amazing, it does not matter if you’re a child or an adult, you will be leaving with the same grin on your face just like you were 5 years old. The spirit and happiness is something you can feel throughout the whole park, it’s an instant stress reliever. So all you have to do is just et go your every day problems and enjoy your time here with the same spontaneousness as your kids have.

When you enter the park trough the main entrance, you can choose which one of the six parks you want to visit. There are 4 regular parks and 2 water parks. If you only have one day to spend here, you better choose the park you want to spend a whole day in. Just by going from one to another, you would spend too much time doing that.

Park Structure:

Magic Kingdom – When you get here, you will walk trough the Main Street towards Cinderella Castle, main focal point of the park and tallest building in the park with 55 meters. Magic Kingdom is then divided into smaller parts for better orientation. Most favorite rides in Magic Kingdom are Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain of Buzz Lightyear’s Space ranger Spin.
EPCOT – Translates into Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. This park is twice as big as Magic Kingdom and it’s dedicated to the celebration of human achievements and innovation. Main feature of the park is Spaceship Earth, large sphere object that also serves as an attraction. This park is also divided into smaller parts and pavilions, dedicated to different achievement and innovations. Part of the park is also World Showcase,large area with 11 pavilions, each representing one of the following countries: Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, USA, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom, Canada
Disney’s Hollywood Studios – Is dedicated to show business, taking the inspiration from Hollywood in the 30’s and 40’s. Park is also structured into smaller sections, each dedicated to a different part of movie history or show business. Many attractions in this park were taken from California’s Disneyland. Most popular attractions here are: The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Rider of the Lost Arch or Star Wars Universe.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom – Is the second largest theme park in the world. Theme of this park is animals and animal conversation. Park is divides into smaller parts, that represent either continent or natural habitat for a certain animals. Rides and other attractions are also incorporated in this part of the park. This park is a great combination of ZOO like experience, but in different context than most of the ZOO’s you ever saw.
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon – Is a water park and home to the one of the world’s largest outdoor wave pools. Typhoon park is only open for 9 months of the year, from January to October. Park features waterfalls and slides, Lazy River and also snorkeling with live tropical fish.
Disney’s Blizzard Beach – Is also a water park, with the min feature Mount Gushmore, an artificial hill that splits into three colored slopes to help navigate quests around the park. At the top of Mount Gushmore, there is a start of 7 different slides or rides. One of the fastest water slides i the world starts right here. All pools are heated to about 80 °F or 27 °C.
