Park has an amazing feel, there are mangroves virtually everywhere, as well as Iguanas. The story about Iguanas is, that someone has brought them to Key Biscayne as a pet, but they escaped and had no natural predator here and that is why you’ll see them everywhere you go.
There are two restaurants here, Boaters Grill is favorite destination for a lot of locals or boaters, who parked in the marina and staying over night on the boat. An then there is a Lighthouse Cafe, more simple restaurant, but at great location.
Main attraction is a mile long beach, which currently sits on the #7 on the list of top beaches of United States. At the end of the beach, there is a Cape Florida Lighthouse, majestic structure is the oldest building in greater Miami area, built in 1825.
